Basketball fans better rejoice as they can catch preseason action of the most popular basketball league on the planet on free television on ABS-CBN S+A.
“NBA On ABS-CBN” kicks-off on S+A this Wednesday with the Oklahoma City Thunder facing the Milwaukee Bucks LIVE on S+A at 8 a.m. in a match featuring MVP favorites Russell Westbrook and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Most hoop heads, however, are looking forward to the early clash of Lebron James and the revamped Los Angeles Lakers and the super-loaded Golden State Warriors of Steph Curry, which will air on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. It will be the first time James meets the Warriors since the Finals last June and as a member of the storied Lakers franchise.
Over the course of the next weeks, however, ABS-CBN Sports will whet the appetite of Filipino basketball fans as the season finally opens on Oct. 17 on S+A!
On opening week, the Joel Embiid-led Philadelphia 76ers take on Kyrie Irving’s Boston Celtics on Oct. 17 live at 8 a.m.
Lonzo Ball and the Lakers, meanwhile face Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers on Oct. 19 live at 10:30 a.m. To cap the week off, the Boston Celtics visit the Toronto Raptors, now led by their new star Kawhi Leonard on Oct. 20 on ABS-CBN at 8:30 a.m., followed by the New York Knicks on Oct. 21 at 7:30 a.m.,live on S+A.
