Greenies, Baby Falcons beat foes

The La Salle Greenhills Greenies and the Adamson Baby Falcons repulsed separate foes to stay on top of the junior division standings of the ongoing 24th Fr. Martin Cup summer tournament at the St. Placid gymnasium of the San Beda University-Manila campus in Mendiola.

Ladis Lepalam and John Natividad banged in 12 and 11 points for the Greenies as they demolished Paco Citizens Academy Foundation, 88-64, for their third straight win in this cagefest which is supported by Cocolife.

Andray Doria shot 19 points for the Baby Falcons in their 80-79 beating of the defending champion San Sebastian College Staglets.

His brother Adam Doria tallied 11 points in helping the Baby Falcons earn their first triumph in two games.

In the women’s action, Grace Irebu top-scored for 27 points as the University of Santo Tomas Tigresses prevailed over Enderun College, 70-63.

The Tigresses improved to 2-2, while dealing Enderun its first setback in four outings.

In other junior games, St. Patrick School won over San Beda-Rizal B, 102-43, while First City Providential School toppled Hope Christian School, 108-97.
