Fresh from their second straight wins, the PNP Responders and the Judiciary Magis duel at 3:30 p.m. in the second game of a triple header in the UNTV Cup Off Season Executive Face-Off on Sunday at the Pasig City Sports Center.
Both teams are determined to maintain their lead as they gun for their third straight wins.
The Responders are expected to focus their defense on Magis’ big men Romulo Paras Jr. and Ian Ramoso.
“Our offense starts with our good defensive plays,” said PNP Responders’ coach Alfred Suarez.
The Judiciary senior cagers, meanwhile, will still use the same formula they used in routing reigning champion AFP Cavaliers last weekend.
“The PNP is physically conditioned so they are quick. I always tell my players to be ready and be tough. We will work more on matching their endurance and agility,” said Judiciary coach Warren Ybañez.
The PNP Responders, Judiciary Magis and the Senate Sentinels are tied at the top with 2-0 records.
