Allen Durham unloaded 38 points for the Meralco Bolts as they got their old form back to stop  Barangay Ginebra, 94-81, on Wednesday evening at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

They picked up their first in their PBA Governors’ Cup best of seven Finals series before a  huge crowd at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Durham also had 20 rebounds for the  Bolts, who topped the eliminations and swept Star in the semifinals.

A late 11-0 run got things going and allowed them to turn the tables around the Gin Kings.

This trimmed down the Gin Kings’ lead in the best-of-seven series to 2-1.

Durham also had five blocks, four assists, and two steals in the 44 minutes he played.

His baskets allowed the Bolts to remain within striking distance for most of the game.

Reynel  Hugntan had 22 points, including seven treys.

The Bolts now have a chance to tie the series with a win in Game Four this Friday night at the Big Dome.

Hugnatan came in after  Ranidel de Ocampo left the court with a calf injury in the first quarter.

He scored his last triple with 3:34 left to put the Bolts ahead, 83-77. Then,  Durham completed a three-point play on top of the Bolts 11-0 run.

They earlier trailed, 75-77, halfway through the fourth period.
