STAR Hotshots want to keep in-step with the other unbeaten teams as they shoot for a third straight victory in the resumption of the 2017 Philippine Basketball Association Commissioner’s Cup.

The sizzling Hotshots (2 wins, 0 loss) eye a share of second place when they try to extend their winning run against hapless NLEX (0-3) at  7 p.m. tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Preceding that will be a tiff between TNT KaTropa (1-1) and another winless team in Blackwater Elite (0-3) at 4:15 p.m.

After its resurgence during the past Philippine Cup, the Hotshots carried their momentum over and are currently showing everyone that they’ve recovered their formidable form again.

With import Tony Mitchell fitting in well with his teammates, the Hotshots raced to a strong start, winning their first two games in dominant fashion.

Another win for the Hotshots will allow them to keep up with the other teams at the top. A victory puts them in a tie with Alaska (3-0) for second place behind league-leader Meralco (4-0).

Over at the other end, the Road Warriors just can’t seem to get things right as their woes continue to pile up.
