Aranar, Nualla rule dancesport tournament

SEAN Mischa Aranar and Ana Leonila Nualla and the pair of Gerald Jamili and Cherry Clarice Parcon won over their respective rivals to dominate the 21st DanceSports Council of the Philippines National Championship recently at the Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena, Pasig City.

Aranar and Nualla outclassed first runner-up Mark Jayson Gayon and Mary Joy Renigen to take home the Standard Grade A crown, while Jamili and Parcon defeated Michael Angelo Marquez and Stephanie Sabalo to pocket the Latin Grade A title.

Ryan June Dancal and Filomena Salvador beat Edwin Bonus and Ma. Cristina Santos to cop the Professional Standard trophy of the event supported by Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Flawless, Muebles Italiano, Retro DCG-FM 105.9, Studio 116 Dance School, M Catering & Fine Foods and The Greenery Bulacan.

In other results of the competition organized by DSCPI President Becky Garcia, Gian Jose Yee and Cristy Glenn Hilario outsmarted Alfredo Suarez Marilou Nunez to rule the Grade B Standard, while Jeffrey Ruben Benarao and Therese Andre’ Quilaton won over Filemon Baguio II and Jhistine Glyde Baguio for the Grade B Latin crown.

Jose Michael Angelo Cabarles and Rica Joy Parcon beat Roderick Abella and Mio Ishida for the Grade C Standard title, while Ben James Ramos and Jade Mae Desono won over Samson Orlanes and Mae Pabuaya for the Grade C Latin crown.

Brazil Ambassador Rodrigo do Amaral and Madame Lais Souza, Matthias Emperhoff (Entertainment Director of Shangri-La, The Fort) and Mrs. Giging Garcia (wife of former PSC Chairman Ricardo Garcia) were present in the competition.
