RAFFLE and cash prizes await participants of the first-ever PTT Run for Clean Energy on July 16 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Grounds.
Android phones, a mountain bike, 50 gift packs from Leslie’s and first-aid kits from Medicard are some of the prizes up for grabs in the advocacy run aimed at promoting the call for clean energy in streets, work and homes.
The project, backed by Chris Sports, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Leslie’s, the National Capital Region Athletic Association, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Science in Sport, Medicard Foundation, Cafe Amazon, PTT Lubricants, Philippine Red Cross, Business Mirror and Business Mirror Health and Fitness Magazine, aims to demonstrate the power of collaborative efforts, using sports as one of the main tools, to provide information campaign about the use of clean energy.
Race categories are 10k (P500), 5k (P300) and 3k (P220), all inclusive of race shirt, race bib and giveaways. Top three male and female runners of the 10k and 5k will get cash prizes and medals. All runners are entitled to win in the raffle of prizes.
Registration is ongoing at Chris Sports SM Manila. Listup is also accepted an hour before the categories during raceday at the CCP Grounds.

“It will be both a fun and competitive day at the CCP grounds,” said Matt Ardina of the organising Subterranean Ideas. “But this should not veer us away from the advocacy being promoted by this event, which is striving to save the planet in every which way we can through the clean power and energy that we use in our cars, industries and homes.”
