Cray runs 2 fast times in Japan

ERIC Cray, who is getting ready to see action in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games, came up with fast times in two invitational meets in Japan.

The 29-year-old Cray clocked 10.35 seconds in the 2017 Mito athletics meet last May 5, according to the event’s official website.

It was his second fastest time for the year.

The last time around, he finished 10.31 seconds last January at the University of Texas-El Paso meet.

Last May 7, he finished the 400-meter hurdles in 49.58 seconds at the Michitaka Kinami Memorial in Osaka.

His performance was close to 49.4 seconds that was considered a new record in the 2015 Singapore SEA Games.

So far, Cray is on course in his preparations for the coming World Championships set from Aug. 4 to 13 in London.

Then, he sees action in the SEA Games in Malaysia, which commences on Aug. 19.
