After a scrupulous review of over two thousand applications, GMA Network has shortlisted aspiring participants of its free Basic TV Drama Scriptwriting Workshop.
Spearheaded by the GMA Network Entertainment Group, the said workshop will focus on soap-opera writing, particularly Filipino teleseryes and the dynamics behind it.
Two hundred seventy eight (278) aspiring participants have been selected for the next phase of the application process. These lucky hopefuls have shown great potential in screenwriting and impressed the review panel with their colorful scripts, characters, and stories.
They will now undergo a round of writing diagnostics and interviews today, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (for Manila applicants) and tomorrow (Dec. 7), from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (for Regional applicants) at the GMA Network Annex Building.
The final chosen participants will be contacted by a GMA representative through their declared contact/mobile number and email address. Participants who will pass the workshop will be given the privilege of being part of GMA’s Entertainment Group.
Any personal information provided to GMA Network will be stored in a database for future use but will not be released, sold, rented to any entities or individuals outside of the company. The company also reserves the right to publish, print, distribute, telecast, and otherwise utilize anything that will be developed and created by the participant during the workshop.
