Los Bastardos steamed up afternoon television with a fast-paced pilot episode that explored the roots of the Cardinal family and filled with action, love, and romance, which brought it to the top of the nationwide TV ratings for its time slot with 15.2 percent vs. competition (11.5 percent).
Geoff Eigenmann, in a special role in the series, portrays a young Don Roman Cardinal as the told the story the family patriarch who has five sons from different women. Cristine Reyes, also in a special role, played Don Roman’s first love, Soledad, whose tragic demise will spark the Don Roman’s quest for true love.
