Hwayugi: A Korean Odyssey, bannered by Lee Seung Gi and Oh Yeon-So, is down to its finale week on ABS-CBN.
The modern Korean take on the Chinese literature classic Journey to the West pits Lee Seung Gi’s Son Oh-gong against the love of his life Yumi, played by Yeon-So, in numerous trials.
The last week promises to be full of action, twists, and turns, as Oh-gong and Yumi face the possibility of sacrificing their love for each other. The bracelet on Oh-gong’s wrist remains to be the key in averting the crisis with the Black Dragon spirit but may make him fall out of love with Yumi once he takes it off, as they are destined to battle each other. What happens now that Oh-gong knows he is also destined to end the life of the love of his life? Are there preparations enough to beat the Black Dragon’s spirit? Will he choose duty over love or will he follow what his heart is yearning for in Yumi?
Will they save the world but at the same time lose each other?
