Based on the latest data released by Kantar Media, more viewers nationwide watched the premiere of the newest Kapamilya primetime series compared to its rival show last Monday (Aug. 13).
The drama that tackles infidelity and extramarital affairs received a national TV rating of 18.2 percent versus the 10.6 percent of its rival on GMA, Inday Will Always Love You.
Its hashtag #AngUnangHalik reached the top spot of Twitter’s trending topics list, receiving thousands of tweets.
The episode introduced viewers to Lino (Jericho) and Jacky (Yen), two lovers separated by their families who will be reunited by destiny. It also showed the tragic reason behind their separation.
What will Lino and Jacky do when fate brings them back together? What has changed in their lives since they last saw each other?
