KMJS, Victor Magtanggol frontline Mega Manila’s top-rating list

For the month of July, GMA impressively bagged 25 out of the 30 spots in Mega Manila’s list of top-rating programs based on the latest data from the industry’s widely trusted rating service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.

Still unbeatable in the number one spot is Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS). The award-winning news magazine program is the most buzzed about TV show on social media every Sunday night as it consistently keeps viewers hooked on its fascinating and trending stories. KMJS is bannered by no less than seasoned broadcast journalist Jessica Soho who is also widely regarded as the most awarded broadcast journalist in the country.

Following KMJS is the Kapuso telefantasya Victor Magtanggol which immediately came in the second spot after its debut on July 30. Portraying the title role is actor Alden Richards who becomes the courageous superhero Hammerman. Its highly anticipated pilot episode also made a huge noise on social media. 

GMA’s flagship newscast 24 Oras landed on the third spot and was closely followed by weekly drama anthology Magpakailanman, Lip Sync Battle Philippines, Pepito Manaloto, Kambal Karibal, The Clash, Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko, and The Cure.

Included in the list as well were Inday Will Always Love You, Amazing Earth, 24 Oras Weekend, You’re My Destiny, Wowowin, Eat Bulaga, Sunday Pinasaya, Imbestigador, Kapuso Movie Night, Contessa, Bubble Gang, Tadhana, The Stepdaughters, Dear Uge, and Princess Hours.

The network, which consistently ruled over ABS-CBN in Mega Manila, posted a solid 18.6 share-point lead with 47.5 percent average total day people audience share versus rival network’s 28.9 percent.
