GMA Network welcomes ‘My Korean Jagiya’ stars

GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon met with the Korean actors of the upcoming primetime series My Korean Jagiya during a courtesy call held Aug. 4 at GMA Network Center. 

David Kim, Michelle Oh, Jerry Lee and Alexander Lee were warmly welcomed by Atty. Gozon together with GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz and My Korean Jagiya’s Program Manager Redgynn S. Alba.

Atty. Gozon said he is very proud of the concept of My Korean Jagiya since the cast will be a combination of Kapuso and South Korean actors, “I think this is the first time it’s being done. You know Koreans really produce very good TV programs. This is our chance to show our Filipino viewers what our station also can do if we are partnering with the best of the producers in the TV industry.”

My Korean Jagiya is an original series of GMA Network top-billed by Philippine TV’s Sweetheart Heart Evangelista-Escudero. She will be paired for the very first time with Alexander who is a professional actor in Korea and former member of the boy band U-Kiss.

It is set to air on Aug. 21 on GMA Telebabad.
