Unique Salonga, Philippine pop music’s hottest young star, is kicking off his Grandma, The Album Tour with a solo show at the Kia Theater at Araneta Center on Saturday night.
Produced by Viva Live and O/C Records, the music event will be the showcase for the songs contained in the young musician’s first solo album titled Grandma, which is now available in all digital platforms.
The album is made up of Unique’s latest original compositions rendered in his distinctive pop-rock style.
Leading the line-up is Unique’s first solo hit, the psychedelic-inspired “Midnight Sky.” Also included are the energetic new single “Sino,” plus “M,” “Cha-Ching!,” “Ozone (Itulak Ang Pinto),” “Jules; I’ll Break Your Little Heart,” “Paalala,” “Goodnight Prayer,” “We Know,” “My Old Friend,” and the fast-rising, much-talked-about ballad “Apoy Ng Kandila.” All of which will be performed by the 18-year-old musician during the show.
Adding excitement to the concert are the featured artists like fast-rising acts Earl Generao, Bita & the Botflies and Rice Lucido.
