And we have to take that literally, and seriously, if you will.

Alden Richards soars high in ‘Adrenaline Rush’ concert
“They should expect the unexpected. We have prepared ‘buwis-buhay’ segments,” shared the bedimpled actor adding that he felt nervous when the production team told him about the stunts that he needs to execute.

Alden Richards is upping the ante in Adrenaline Rush concert as he will perform indoor and outdoor stunts that revolve around the theme of air, probably inspired by his current fantasy series, Victor Magtanggol, where viewers see him as the highflying Hammerman.

“We’re incorporating stunts which I haven’t done before. My superhero persona will make a guest appearance in the concert as well,” Alden told Manila Standard in an interview, “Perhaps, I have done some of them during my Sunday All-Stars and Party Pilipinas days, but in this concert, the production numbers will be intense.”

The 26-year-old actor and recording artist noted that in his previous solo concert, titled Upsurge, they worked on the element of water and incorporated it in every production number. He assured the press present during the interview that he’s taking this concert to the next level.

“They should expect the unexpected. We have prepared ‘buwis-buhay’ segments,” shared the bedimpled actor adding that he felt nervous when the production team told him about the stunts that he needs to execute.

“It’s all about timing and precision for us to pull off the production numbers we intend to do. Of course, there are safety measures that we need to follow. I’m telling you, they’re no joke.”

Apart from the difficult routine and spectacular production, the concert features Alden’s chart-topping songs, and tracks from his new album under GMA Records, Until I See You Again.

“The audience will hear songs of different genres like ‘God Gave Me You’ and ‘I Will Be Here.’ We’ve prepared a nice lineup of songs,” Alden guaranteed.

The concert also promises a night of pure entertainment as special guests Regine Velazquez-Alcasid, Ai Ai delas Alas, Rodjun Cruz, Betong Sumaya, One Up, and Ex Battalion, to name a few, join the Pambansang Bae on stage.

While GMA Network is generous in terms of allowing Alden to explore other facets of his career, like music, he is also grateful that he is given a chance to be part of the concert’s creative process. From the theme to the concert set list, and from the production numbers to the overall program, he’s given the creative freedom to decide what would make this major solo concert even more entertaining.

“I’m very grateful that I’m given the chance to be part of the creative process. In this concert, I challenge myself even more because I want to give my 100 percent. By doing so, it’s also my way of thanking all the fans who continue to support me no matter what,” he said.

Adrenaline Rush is produced by GMA Records, directed by GB Sampedro, with musical direction by Marc Lopez. Ticket prices are available at P4,780 for VIP (with free album), P3,880 for Platinum, P2,780 for Gold and P1,780 for Silver via TicketNet.

Alden’s five-track album “Until I See You Again” carries the single “I Will Be Here,” with backing tracks of the songs plus one bonus track. It became available for digital pre-order on Sept. 7 and will be officially released via iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and various digital platforms worldwide on the same of the concert.
