Certified hitmaker Dingdong Avanzado returns to deliver more iconic OPM songs with his recently launched revival of the hit single “Walang Kapalit” under Star Music.
“I’m celebrating my 30th year and with this milestone, we wanted to bring in some of my past hits and reimagine them,” shared Dingdong about his current legacy project.
The singer-songwriter’s restyled “Walang Kapalit” was launched on air through MOR 101.9 along with the “Ikakasal Ka Na” remake of his wife, Jessa Zaragoza. His 2000 Here to Stay album under then-Star Records contained the original version of “Walang Kapalit,” with words and music by renowned musician Rey Valera.
Meanwhile, the remake version of the single is arranged by Marlon Barnuevo, mixed and mastered by Boggie Manipon with backup vocals and arrangement by Yosha Honasan and guitars by Migs Rañeses.
Star Music’s audio content head, Jonathan Manalo, led the song’s main vocal arrangement and over-all music production.
This latest single is now available for download in leading digital stores. It is also part of Dingdong and Jessa’s collaborative 20/30 Commemorative Anniversary Album, launched recently.
