Summer dance classes start early for “Dance Surge 2,” a three-day camp coached by respected performers from the industry, set to be held from March 21 to 23.
It begins with warm-ups in the form of open jam, while main classes begin at 5:30 p.m.. Members and alumni of The Saint Benilde Romançon Dance Company (SBRDC), the official dance group of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), will mentor all workshops.
The participants will be led by successful stage performers in their respective dance genres, to include, Ballet by Carissa Adea and Olivia Bugayong, Creative Movement and Contemporary by Ronelson Yadao, Contemporary Dance by Cheska Vasallo, Jazz by Gian Arboleda, Broadway Jazz by Joel Angeles, Locking Choreography by Jacob Jaurigue, and Urban by Denise Uson, Nathan Escano, Paul Liggayu, Miles Soriano, Adam Alonzo, King Mistica, and Josh Vidamo.
Those interested may register per class or avail bundles of two, three or four classes. Packages come with a complimentary ticket to the dance show The Box of Amalgams and the Colors of Reality on Saturday, March 24, at the SDA Theater.
