The Season of New Series
The 10th season has teased that there will be a death of a “significant character.”
This month, FOX+ offers a solid lineup of the same day as the U.S. TV shows for subscribers:

The Walking Dead. The ninth promises a whole new ball game, especially with the Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes exiting midway in the season. While this may be a huge shock to fans who have been following the post-zombie apocalypse drama since the beginning, it could also mean new storylines from other characters’ perspectives will arise. (Releases on Oct. 7 at 11: 30 a.m.)

American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Season 8 of the groundbreaking horror series is set in the future, “18 months from today,” as creator Ryan Murphy said in April this year. There have been a lot of rumors that have built up about this season, but for sure, fans can look forward to seeing their favorite actors come back to play a part in the horror story. Fresh Off the Boat. The only running sitcom to star an Asian-American family is still going strong. Season 5 will see a new Asian-American family moving into the neighborhood featuring Ming-Na Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as the matriarch of the family. (Releases on Oct. 6 at 12:00 nn)

The Resident and The Good Doctor. The two medical dramas are returning for their second season as well. The Resident peels back the curtain and reveals what happens behind-the-scenes in a hospital, be it good or bad. (New episodes every Tuesday at 12:00 nn). Meanwhile, in The Good Doctor, Freddie Highmore returns as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a brilliant surgeon with autism for a second season after a record-breaking freshman year. The Gifted. Based on Marvel Comics X-Men universe, is back for its second season as the stakes are raised and more is revealed about the 7/15 incident that led to the anti-mutant policy and sentiment.
