MVP Card revolutionizes the way you shop and dine

PLDT Group unveiled its MVP Rewards Card on Feb. 6 at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La. Present at the event were the telco's top guns led by its chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan.

With MVP (Most Valuable Partner) Rewards, PLDT Home, Smart or Sun postpaid customers immediately credited with points as good as cash every time they pay in full and on time. Prepaid Smart, Sun and TNT customers, on the other hand, earn points every time they load up.

With the MVP Rewards program, customers can shop or dine anywhere and at anytime they want, just like using a credit card or a debit card.

The more accounts customers enroll in this program, the more points they get automatically since earned points from each service of each company are credited and consolidated into one wallet.

Powered by PayMaya, MVP Rewards Card functions as a prepaid card, which makes it a safe choice for shopping, both online and offline. Unlike credit cards which rack up interest and debit cards which are connected to your salary or personal savings account, the MVP Rewards Card can help you manage your expenses by loading only what you're willing to spend. So if you’re going out of the country and you want to keep your shopping habits in check, you can conveniently use the card by loading it and by swiping as a VISA card.

The MVP card also has Paywave function which means it can be used as ‘tap card’ when paying for toll fees in Cavitex.

“MVP Rewards is in a category of its own. We’ve taken what is best across industries and put it in one powerful program that offers more than just rewards. And the PLDT Group has the unique ability to provide this level of convergence owing to the breadth of our combined services,” said  Pangilinan.

Sign up for your own MVP Rewards Card and enroll your PLDT Home, Smart, Sun and TNT accounts at www.mvprewards.ph.
