Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos and The Clash alumnus Anthony Rosaldo are collaborating in a concert dubbed Revelation. It’s their first time to share the stage for a show, something that makes both stars really excited.
“Expect a lot of surprises from Anthony and I. We want to push our boundaries. We’re still exploring our option on how to execute the whole show, but we hope that the audience will enjoy the production numbers that we have prepared for them,” Mikee assures.
“As for the revelation, people will see something new from us. They need to see the show to find out,” she carried on.
Meanwhile, Anthony anticipates his team up with Mikee with overflowing enthusiasm. He guarantees the concertgoers are in for a one-of-a-kind music experience.
“Working with Mikee is such a breeze. She’s very dedicated to her craft that she kind of affects the people around her. You can really see her passion for music and her love for performing,” he says.
“We have a lot in store for the audience – things that we haven’t done yet. We’ll sing and dance for sure. I personally love this concert since I am just starting out in showbiz. This concert will give me a bigger avenue to reach more people and introduce my music,” he adds.
Mikee considers the concert a big challenge for her and Anthony. She admits that although she loves music as much as acting, people have not seen so much of her musical side.
“That’s where Anthony comes in. He assists me in terms of performing since he’s the one more comfortable doing live shows. He’s really the pro. I was really insecure with my singing but the people around me helped out to boost my confidence. And that’s the beauty of this team up, we help each other out. I get tips from him and I share some things with him,” Mikee says.
The two GMA Artist Center stars hope that their team up wouldn’t end on the concert stage. If given a chance, they would be more than willing to work together for different projects in the future.
“That’s something that we are looking forward to. We hope that this is just the beginning of many more collaborations between the two of us,” Anthony shares.
The concert promises stellar entertainment as special guests Solenn Heussaff and Aicelle Santos join Mikee and Anthony on stage. A night filled with ‘90s medley, today’s chart-topping songs, OPM dance hits, and a glimpse of Broadway awaits the audience.
Presented by JPI Entertainment, Revelation is under the direction of Paulo Infante.
