The program announcement was made during the finale of the much talked about reality singing show The Clash, whose Top 5 contenders Golden Cañedo, Jong Madaliday, Garrett Bolden, Josh Adornado, and Mirriam Manalo were said to be joining the show.
At the grand launch of the program, where the complete lineup of performers was revealed, the network executives said that the show will make “every Sunday night special as they want to surprise their viewers with versatile performances from their artists.”
In its first two episodes, balladeers Christian Bautista and Mark Bautista, and pop sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose are going to be the featured artists. They will be joined by Gabbi Garcia and Rayver Cruz who will bring their trending musical performances and grooves on the dance floor.
“We are not just bringing the music back on TV, it’s a gathering of stars and fresh faces so people can expect a mix of performances and some interesting personalities each week. The show wants to connect with our audience more by making them involved in the program, not just merely people watching the show,” said Julie Anne.
Stars Kyline Alcantara, Migo Adecer, Mikee Quintos, Kate Valdez and twins Mavy and Cassy Legaspi will offer one-of-a-kind performances to their fans, as well.
Adding more excitement in the show with their amusing brand of comedy are Donita Nose and Tekla who will serve as hosts.
For more colorful Sunday nights, fans and viewers will be able to feel the ultimate Kapuso music tambayan as they will have the chance to interact with various stars as they jam and dance with them in different episodes every week.
The upcoming television spectacle will have new segments every week including “Trending” where it will feature viral, heartwarming and interesting personalities online.
In “G na G,” the hosts will take on the challenges given to them by the netizens. “On the Spot,” in turn, will showcase a grand vocal showdown among GMA’s finest singers.
