Camille Prats rejects the possibility of another cut-throat competition now that her new show over at GMA titled Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw is in direct collision with ABS-CBN’s Sana Dalawa ang Puso Ko top billed by Jodi Sta. Maria.

“I believe it should not ignite a network war,” she says. “In fact, I don’t feel that there’s still a network war to begin with. Of course, the competition will always be there, but it’s a healthy one.”

Camille says that they both have a similar goal and that is to give their audience good entertainment.

“We are here to work and not to fight, right? That’s basically it,” she explains.

Since she is the lead actress in Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw, it’s inevitable that she gets compared with Jodi who is her counterpart in the rival program.

“I’ve known her for such a long time already. We don’t have anything against each other so why the need to compete? As long as we’re both doing our best in our respective vehicle, that’s okay. What matters most is we do our best efforts to further enhance our performance.”

Camille admires Jodi’s positivity as a person. In fact, she considers herself as Jodi’s big fan.

Meanwhile, Camille also talks about the plot of their show being different from Sana Dalawa ang Puso Ko.

“Our series is different in the sense that our attack is more natural. It’s not that heavy like in films. Reality is our home base. I hope they would love its rawness. It’s really relatable,” she says.

Since their program airs in a morning timeslot, Camille is happy that it’s light in nature.

“We need more love and comedy more than anything else. We go through lots of difficulties everyday so it would help if what you see on television is just light and will put a smile in your heart,” she ends.

Even if his physique has remarkably improved due to his gym routine, Kapuso talent Jeric Gonzales admits he still feels awkward posting his shirtless photos on social media.

“I’m still working on my abs, that’s why. At present, I just have four. Six is the ideal, right? So I still need to achieve that,” he laughs.

The lad discloses that he’s not the type who would post shirtless photos on his social media accounts.

“I post photos while I’m doing workouts in the gym but not shirtless ones. Well, to each is own, right? Maybe, I’m just basically shy.”

For Jeric, this is one way to avoid receiving negative comments from netizens. He believes it’s inevitable that you’ll get compared to those who have chiseled physique.

“You might suffer in the comparison in the process. It’s better to keep a low profile rather than receive flak from people,” he beams.

Meanwhile, Jeric is presently happy to be part of the hit prime time offering Kambal Karibal headlined by Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix.

“I’m so proud that we’re doing good ratings-wise. For a couple of times during road shows, people call me ‘Parekoy.’ It means they’re really watching! Because of this show. Many avenues of opportunities opened for me. I hope the public will support us continuously until the end,” he concludes.
