Some thirty cute, talented, and adorable kids competed in the Grand Finals of the SM Little Star pageant at SMX Convention Center, Manila on Aug. 18.
The Grand Finals was the culmination of a month-long search wherein more than 5,000 kids aged four to seven all over the country registered to join the contest.
In its twelfth year of celebrating talented Filipino kids, SM Little Stars shines brighter with over P9.5 million worth of prizes at stake, including brand new cars, international trip, college scholarship, and artist management contract plus cash prizes and gift certificates.
For the Grand Prize winner took home a brand new Chevrolet Sail MT, exclusive artist management contract with Regal Entertainment Inc., P100,000 worth of cash and SM Gift Certificates (P 50,000 cash and P50,000 worth of gift certificates), a five-day and four-night trip to China for two including airfare, hotel accommodations, and tours, a four-year College Scholarship Grant from National University, and P30,000 worth of Toy Kingdom Gift Cards.
For the Grand Finals, this year’s winners were chosen by celebrity judges singer and actress Karylle, movie director Joey Reyes, TV personality Tuesday Vargas, and SM Little Stars 2013 third prize winner Esang de Torres on the following criteria: star quality 40 percent, personality 20 percent, and talent 40 percent.
