Valentine’s Day comes early at Resorts World Manila (RWM) with Golden Sounds of The Platters with Johnny “Elvis” Thompson on Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT).

Hailed as the foremost tribute band of the iconic American vocal group, The Golden Sounds of The Platters continue to romance audiences with their spot-on renditions of classics such as “Only You,” “Twilight Time,” “Remember When,” “I’m Sorry,” “The Magic Touch,” “My Prayer,” “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes,” and “The Great Pretender.”

Branson in Missouri, considered the Las Vegas of the US East coast in terms of the city’s entertainment offerings, has voted the group three-time Vocal Group of the Year, Entertainers of the Year, and inducted the foursome in the city’s Hall of Fame.
