Marian to take another break from showbiz

A few months after her showbiz comeback, Marian Rivera said that she would be taking another break to focus more on taking care of her daughter.

In a press launch for Johnson’s Milk+ ats held on July 5, the Kapuso Primetime Queen told the members of the press that she wanted to be a hands on mom to Zia. And she will be very selective in accepting assignments from her mother network since she wants to spend more quality and quantity time with her daughter with Dingdong Dantes.

When she returned to work, Marian was instantly given a new assignment as host of Yan Ang Morning!, a lifestyle-morning talk show that allows viewers as well as the studio audience to participate and be involved in everything that Marian does in the program.

In the show, she has a cooking segment, DIY projects and activities, and a segment where she even try the latest workouts and fitness trends.

“I’m glad that they (GMA Network) still give me projects that can showcase a different side of me,” Marian said in vernacular.

The Kapuso star was also ecstatic to reveal that the show, which is designed for just one season will be extended for two more weeks.

“The management wanted to extend the show that’s why our viewers will still see us for a few more weeks,” she revealed.

Meanwhile, Marian will also play as “Ynang Reyna Minea” alongside her husband Dingdong , who will play as Raquim, in the 2016 remake of Kapuso fantaserye, Encantadia. Dingdong played the role of Ybrahim/Ybarro in the series’ original version.

Although offered with another soap scheduled to start taping in September, Marian said she wouldn’t have the time to accommodate additional projects.

When asked if she is willing to let Zia enter show business, Marian said that she wants to let the kid enjoy a normal life away from the limelight.

The Johnson’s Milk+Oats on July 5 at the Market! Market! also marked the first public appearance of the 7-month-old Zia.
