SM Prime Holdings Inc. recently unveiled its latest offering south of Metro Manila, SM South Tower, an upcoming office building slated for completion by mid-2017 within the SM Southmall complex. This project aims to provide economical office spaces to BPOs. The southern part of Metro Manila is fast becoming known as the next address of choice for most companies operating in the country, particularly by the growing BPO industry, thanks to its proximity to the central business districts. Developers are gearing towards commercial and residential projects in the south to encourage BPOs to decentralize their operations, and decongest the metro. SM Southmall in Las Piñas City is accessible via all modes of transportation, with routes that easily connect people to key areas in the city, such as Coastal Road, Daang Hari and Alabang-Zapote Road. Las Piñas City itself has been recognized as one of the best managed cities in the country by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
