Philmetal Products, Inc. (PMPI), one the country’s biggest maker of roofing products, was recently awarded an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate by TUV Rheinland Philippines Inc.. This was for the manufacture of galvanized and pre-painted metal building products including bending, slitting, shearing, curving of roofing, decking and bended accessories.The ISO 9001:2008 certification was based on quality management principles including strong customer focus, management commitment, the process approach, continual improvement and regular process reviews. The certificate verified that Philmetal met relevant standards of ISO 9001: 2008. Shown in photo are Isabel M.
