The Alsons Power Group – Mindanao’s first and most experienced private sector power generator – has bagged the Golden Dagitab Award from the National Electrification Administration.

The award was given in recognition of Alsons Power’s partnership in the governments’ pursuit of rural electrification thru the delivery of affordable, adequate, continuous, and reliable power supply to electric cooperatives.

Alsons Power Chief Executive Officer Tirso G. Santillan, Jr. (third from right) received the award from NEA Administrator Edgardo Masongsong (second from the right) and Department of Energy Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi (fourth from the right).

They were joined by NEA Deputy Administrators (from left to right) Rossan SJ. Rosero Lee, Sonia B. San Diego, Vicar Loureen G. Lofranco, and Artis Nikki L. Tortola.
