Trump & Duterte hold bilateral talks

United States (US) President Donald Trump and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte held bilateral talks on Monday.

This is at the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Summit in Pasay City.

Initial information coming from Duterte's Spokesperson Harry Roque indicates, Duterte talked about the Philippine government's war against illegal drugs.

Trump was frequently nodding to Duterte during their conversation.

Duterte also tackled some free trade agreements between the US and the Philippines.

Trump told Duterte that he is a friend of the Philippines, unlike his predecessor, Former US President Barack Obama.
