Two CamSur lawmakers swap insults, go viral

TWO lawmakers from Camarines Sur engaged in a shouting match inside the Pili police station on Wednesday, hurling insults and taunts at each other.

Rep. Rolando Andaya of the 1st District went to the police station upon learning that 2nd District Rep. LRay Villafuerte was inside.

Andaya came from a meeting with residents of Brgy. Agustin who alleged that Camarines Sur Gov. Migz Villafuerte ordered the dumping of gravel in their lands which were to be affected by the Naga Airport reorientation project.

“The people asked for my help. They said they were being forced to surrender their lots for only P8 per square meter,” Andaya said.

But instead of a civilized discussion, the two lawmakers verbally attacked each other, to the distress of the policemen who appealed to Andaya and the elder Villafuerte to respect the police station.

Their exchange of gutter language was recorded on video and was posted on various social media platforms.

One of the videos posted on Facebook was an edited version showing Andaya as the only one shouting. A longer and unedited version of the video was sent to Manila Standard by Andaya.

Andaya accused Villafuerte of being gay, while the latter shot back and called Andaya uncircumcised.

At one point, one of them could be heard taunting the other to give him a fellatio.

Andaya then challenged Villafuerte to step outside the police station so they could settle the score.

Villafuerte, who was also being restrained by the policemen, said: “I will go outside to teach him a lesson.” But he did not leave the police station and instead shouted, “You’re a loser! A loser! Stupid!”

Andaya taunted in a similarly childish fashion: “You’re already old. You’re done! Stupid!”

The policemen could be heard pleading to the two lawmakers to relax and to stop degrading the police station.

At one point, Andaya held one policemen in a chokehold, and accused the latter of pushing him.

Villafuerte shouted from inside the police station, “You are gay and talkative! Do you want to kiss me?” to which Andaya retorted, “You are uncircumcised. You can’t even sit beside me in Congress because you are gay.”

Outside the police station, the affected residents cheered and clapped for Andaya, who joined them on the street while Villafuerte peeked through the station’s glass door.

“Please answer us LRay. Why are you blocking our roads? Why did you dump gravel in our place?” one of the residents bellowed.

In a radio interview, Villafuerte accused Andaya of being high on drugs when the latter stormed the police station.

Manila Standard tried to reach Villafuerte but he did not respond.

Andaya, for his part, said he was only doing his part to defend the affected residents.

“Maybe LRay is the one who is high on drugs. I do not have a history of drug use. Maybe it’s the other way around,” he said.
