Barbs swapped over Isabelle’s debut invitation

THE granddaughter of President Rodrigo Duterte and the son of the chief executive’s right-hand man, Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, traded barbs online yesterday on the eve of the former’s 18th birthday celebration.

Go’s son, Christian Lawrence, said the video that accompanied the invitation for the debut of presidential granddaughter Isabelle Duterte smacked of “a sense of entitlement.”

“Ang weird makita nung pre-debut photoshoot ni… Parang may sense of entitlement ang dating. Nagpose pa siya sa likod ng seal… Weird, so weird…” the younger Go said using his Twitter account @chrencego, which he has since taken down but not before netizens were able to take screenshots of the exchange that followed.

Isabelle, while she was not named in the tweet, apparently felt alluded to and lashed back at the son of her grandfather’s most trusted Cabinet official.

“Weird lang dahil Papa mo yung kausap in the process… Omg!?!???? Shocker,” she said, pointing to Sec. Bong Go as the one who approved the pre-debut photoshoot inside Malacañan Palace.

“You bash someone related to the person who your dad works for, konting tingin sa pinanggalingan. keep you feet on the ground (sic),” Isabelle said, short of accusing the Chrence of being an ingrate.

“+ you’ve been to places i’ve never been to. so don’t hit me with that entitlement bullshit. kasi you know who between the two of our families hold a bigger scandal. if you’ve lost that much respect for our family, i wont hesitate to spill everything i know about yours,” she added.
