After coming from Bangkok, Thailand to support the President during the opening of the 34th ASEAN Summit, Senator-elect Christopher Lawrence Go rushed to the 50 families affected by the fire incident in Quezon City.

A total of 120 residents whose houses were razed by fire on June 19 were forced to evacuate at Murphy Public Market in 15th Avenue, Quezon City.

Go assured the victims  that he would continue visiting areas that were hard to be reached for him to listen to the ordinary Filipinos’ concerns even after he shall have started work at the Senate.

Through Go’s coordination, the National Housing Authority vowed to help the victims with their housing needs.

Go also requested various government agencies to provide additional relief assistance to the affected community.

Go also offered medical assistance to those who were in need through Malasakit Center.
