Solon hails nursing board exam topnotchers

Leyte Rep. Yedda Romualdez on Sunday congratulated the Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation-College of Nursing in Tacloban City after three of its graduates landed in the top 10 among those who passed the 2018 nursing licensure examination.

“The RTRMF has been a center of excellence for consistently topping the board for 11 consecutive years,” said Romualdez, a registered nurse and chairperson of the House committee on accounts.

“Congratulations to the graduates and officials of the RTRMF for topping the latest 2018 nursing licensure exam. Truly, the school is the center of academic excellence,” she added.

She lauded College of Nursing Dean Socorro Salvacion Gasco and her 25 graduates, including

the top-notchers from batch Onyx 2018, for passing the exam.

“Continue to soar high because your great minds would further inspire many students from different parts of the country to excel,” she said.

The three graduates who joined the top 10 passers were Kathryn Angelie Bugho who ranked second with a score of 86.80 percent, Angelae Priscilla Cahilig who placed seventh with 85.40 percent and Arianne Grapilon at 9th place with 85 percent.

“We have efficient faculty members. We have highly motivated students. We have been implementing correctly the curriculum, plus the support of the RTRMF and with the glory of God,” Gasco said.

Jennifer Jacob Quirante from the University of Santo Tomas topped the examination with 87.80 percent.
