Phoenix Publishing House Inc. and Sibs Publishing House Inc. have teamed up and launched “Jumpstart,” a program they said guaranteed senior high school students slots for work immersion.

Slated on Sept. 13, at the Manila International Book Fair, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City, “Jumpstart” is set from 9 to 11 am and 2- 4 pm.

They will have sessions on resume writing, answering interview questions, and dressing appropriately for an interview appointment given by experts in human resources, they said in a press release.

With “Jumpstart,” Phoenix and Sibs may serve as the qualified students’ workplace immersion venue, where they acquire relevant and practical skills under the guidance of publishing industry experts.

Students will also get the opportunity to learn and enhance their technical knowledge and improve their communication competence for future employment.
