The remains of the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who was killed in the earthquake in Taiwan have arrived today.
The body of 28-year-old Melody Albano Castro has been brought back to the Philippines via China Air.
Her remains will be stored at the cargo section of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to wait for a flight tomorrow morning to Tuguegarao.
Castro's body will be transported to her hometown in Abulug, Cagayan.
Her family will receive financial assistance from Taiwan government.
Castro had been working as caregiver for six years in Hualien County in the east coast.
She was hit by a cabinet inside a building when a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck Taiwan Tuesday last week.
