Student praises airport employee

A CHINESE nursing student in Manila was all praise for an airport employee who returned his black pouch, containing $3,600 and other foreign currencies, found on top of a push cart at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Runze Shandong Zhao, 23, lost his belongings at the Main Arrival area of Naia Terminal 1 Wednesday morning.

Push cart retriever identified only as one Mr. Cubacub, of D’Frada Allied Maintenance Service Inc., found the pouch and immediately turned this over to the security guard on site who later brought the item to the airport police on duty.

Police-Aviation Security Group officer on duty PO1 Mark Anthony Lusergo inspected the pouch and found 36 pieces of $100 bills, 640 Chinese Yuan and P3,400 that belonged to Zhao.

A piece of paper with a name Ms. Linda Orozco and her contact number was also found inside the pouch.
