PAGASA: It may rain on Christmas day

Weather bureau PAGASA predicts it may rain on Christmas day.

PAGASA Forecaster Chriz Perez says, a weak La Nina may affect the country's weather beginning next month.

This is expected to bring normal to above normal volume of rains.

The phenomonon is characterized by unusually cold ocean temperatures in the Equatorial Pacific.

This area covers countries from Indonesia to Central America.

Perez says, the rainy weather may last until mid-February next year.

For today, there are some rainfalls in Metro Manila.

There is 40 percent chance of rain in Cebu and 80 percent chance of rain in Metro Davao.

PAGASA attributes this condition to a tail end of a cold front.
