Korean drug syndicate suspect caught in Angeles BI operation

A Korean national, reportedly a member of an international drug syndicate, was nabbed by Bureau of Immigration operatives in Angeles, Pampanga.

Noh Jun Ho, who is wanted by the Korean authorities for illegal drug distribution in Korea and other Asian countries, was arrested by elements of the bureau’s fugitive search unit in coordination with the Korean National Police Agency at Barangay Cuayan, Angeles City.

Noh is on the Interpol red notice for violation of The Narcotics Control Act of Korea, according to consul and police attachè Lee Soo Bok of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Manila.

The BI said Ho is an undocumented alien who “posted risk to public safety and security being a fugitive from justice for violation of ‘The Narcotics Control Act of Korea.’”

His passport has also been invalidated on Oct. 16, 2016. He currently detained at the BI Warden Facility in Taguig pending deportation.
