Malacanang reports a team called the Post-Conflict Needs Assessment (PCNA) is making the rounds of Marawi City to examine the overall damage sustained during the siege.

After the assessment is completed, government will be able to determine the magnitude devastation and just how enormous the task of rehabilitating the conflict-torn city will be.

Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said, the military has to finish the clearing operations before it can be declared that fighting has ended with Maute and ISIS-inspired terrorists.

Joint Task Force Ranao Deputy Commander Colonel Romeo Brawner said foreign terrorists are now left to fight the soldiers.

This came following the deaths of Omar Maute and Isnilon Hapilon, considered the 'emir' of ISIS in Southeast Asia.
