Sandiganbayan is holding the trial for the plunder case of Former Senator Bong Revilla.

This proceeding has been reset for at least five times since January this year.

Revilla did not arrive at the sala of the anti-graft court's First Division on Thursday morning.

His lawyers said the former lawmaker is confined at St. Luke's Hospital for high blood.

The justices were not given prior notice on his condition.

In the past, some of the justices had expressed some frustrations over the delay in the movement of the case.

The prosecution's marking of evidence had taken a very long time.

Revilla's camp had also moved for the exclusion of some prosecution witnesses and documents.

Revilla is facing a plunder case for allegedly pocketing P 224.5 million in kickbacks.

The funds allegedly stemmed from transactions relating to his pork barrel.
