PAGASA reports that as noon time, the low pressure area (LPA) near Baler, Aurora has dissipated.

However, the Cordilellera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley and Aurora will continue to have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains.

This condition will prevail all throughout this afternoon.

PAGASA weather forecaster Bennison Estareja says, Metro Manila, Luzon and Visayas will experience fair weather.

He also says, the easterlies or the warm weather coming from the Pacific Ocean will prevail over the archipelago beginning next week.

At this time, only the residents of Batanes continue to feel the cool northeast winds or ‘amihan.’

Estareja says, the coming summer will be ‘neutral,’ meaning no La Niña or El Niño will affect the climate.

Next week, he predicts that the maximum weather temperature will reach up to 33 degrees celsius.

In April, the maximum temperature is expected to rise at 34 degrees celsius during the day.

It may go up to 35 degrees celsius in May.

PAGASA has yet to officially declare the onset of summer.
