Golez backs Gus
Parañaque 2nd District Rep. Roilo Golez is endorsing the bid of re-electionist Parañaque City Vice Mayor Gustavo Suarez Tambunting.
“He is a worthy successor who will surely continue the projects that I initiated,” Golez said.
In October 2012, Tambunting was chosen by Golez to run for Congress.
Tambunting’s wife Joy, also campaign manager, recently launched the ‘Gus for Congress’ Movement following a mass at the La Huerta attended by supporters.
Tambunting started his political career in 1988, after he got elected as the youngest Parañaque councilor. For four years, he served in the city’s Sangguniang Panglungsod, and prioritized projects promoting livelihood assistance, education, healthcare, and clean environment.
“A healthy, educated community fuels the growth that will be funded by investors in local business,” Tambunting said.
At La Huerta, community folk hailed Tambunting who served as councilor for almost 20 years.
“We are praying that Tata Kulas, our patron, will guide Gus in his campaign,” a supporter said.
