LEAP IP roadshow

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines recently kicked off the first leg of its “Learn, Be Empowered, Adopt, and Profit from Intellectual Property” (LEAP IP) Roadshow for local government units with lectures to over a hundred employees of the city governments of Makati and Manila.

To advance their knowledge about intellectual property rights, IPOPHL collaborated with the cities’ Office of the Mayor, Business Permits and Licensing Offices, and city council officials for the activity last Nov. 21 to 22.

The LEAP IP for LGU Roadshow aims to assist government employees on implementing their IP ordinances through information dissemination, protection, and enforcement. IPOPHL is scheduled to hold its next legs of the roadshow in other LGUs within Metro Manila before the yearend.
