Automakers’ board named
The Philippine Automotive Competitiveness Council, Inc. elected its board of trustees and key officers for 2013 in their Annual Organizational Meeting last January 18.
The new PACCI Board and Key Officers are:
Feliciano L. Torres, trustee and chairman, Michinobu Sugata, trustee and president; Hikosaburo Shibata, trustee and vice-president; Eddie Jose, trustee and treasurer; Tatsuya Natsume, trustee; and Ryoji Yamazaki, trustee.
PACCI’s Members are the Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, and the auto assemblers that accounted for the bulk of the locally manufactured vehicles sold last year - Honda Cars Philippines, Inc., Isuzu Philippines Corp., Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp., and Toyota Motor Philippines Corp.
PACCI Executive Director Ramon Vicente T. Kabigting said that the Council’s 2013 Work Program focuses, among others, on cooperation with the government and stakeholders to formulate an Industry Development Plan.
