Kidnapper nabbed in Iloilo - PNP
Director of the Police Regional Office Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said Tuesday they have arrested a suspected member of a notorious kidnap-for-ransom group in Barangay Tabuk Suba in Jaro district, Iloilo City.
Cruz said the group has been victimizing Indian nationals in Region 4A.
“The suspect, Peter John Borra Dumdumayam was arrested at around 10:45 a.m. on Monday. He did not resist arrest when showed of the warrant,” Cruz said.
In Camp Crame, National Police spokesman Chief Supt. Generoso Cerbo Jr. said Dumdumaya is included in the list of most wanted persons in Region 4A (Calabarzon). A Php200,000 bounty is offered by PNP for his capture.
“In 2008, the group allegedly kidnapped one Balwinder Kumar in Morong, Rizal,” Cerbo said.
