DOE recognizes CEMEX for its ISO 50001 energy management system certification. The Department of Energy through its Philippine Industrial Energy Efficiency Project (PIEEP) recognized CEMEX Philippines for its implementation of ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) in its cement plants. CEMEX Philippines’ subsidiaries, Solid Cement Corp. and Apo Cement Corp., are the first cement plants in the country to be certified by SGS Philippines for EnMS.
