Former Manila Mayor Mel Lopez died of heart attack on Sunday night.
He was 81 years old.
He had been confined at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City since December 22.
This week, Lopez’s remains will be brought to Sto Niño Binondo Church in Manila and to the Manila City Hall.
He will be buried at the Heritage Park in Taguig City.

Lopez served as Manila mayor from 1986 to 1992.
