PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa has approved the sacking of 174 policemen who tested positive for drugs.
In a press conference on Monday morning, Dela Rosa announced, he will sign today the recommendation of the PNP Internal Affairs Service (IAS) for the dismissal from service of the cops found to be using drugs.
Dela Rosa advised the affected policemen to forget about seeking reinstatement.
He said, “huwag na kayong mag-attempt na magpa-reinstate dahil haharangin ko ang reinstatement. Sabihin nyo, personalan ito. Oo, pepersonalin ko ito (do not attempt to seek reinstatement because I will block it. You say this is personal. Yes, I will make it a personal issue).”
