Ronnie Dayan, the former security aide of Senator Leila De Lima, has been transferred to a safe house in Pangasinan.
Pangasinan Provincial Police Director Ronald Lee says, Dayan first arrived in Pangasinan Provincial Police Office at about 10 pm Thursday after testifying in the hearing of the House of Representatives.
A doctor conducted a check up on Dayan and found him to be in good health.
Dayan’s wife, children and two siblings are accompanying him.
Lee says, at 2 am on Friday, Dayan and his family were transferred to a safe house.
Lee notes, Dayan's family members are enjoying a mini-reunion.
Dayan went into hiding for two months, prior to his arrest and appearance at the investigation of the House Committee on Justice on the alleged proliferation of illegal drug trade in New Bilibid Prison.
